Hello! I’m Ron Torgeson, principal and lead inspector of North Star Property Inspections.

As a U.S. Marine Corps officer and veteran, I bring the same discipline, integrity, and attention to detail that defined my service to every home inspection I perform.

I understand that the home-buying process can be one of life’s most complex and meaningful decisions. My goal is to make that journey clearer and more confident through thorough evaluations, transparent communication, and a commitment to helping clients make informed choices.

My professional background includes experience within the installations and housing enterprise of the Marine Corps, along with certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Facility Manager (CFM). This blend of operational precision and facility expertise allows me to evaluate homes with a comprehensive, systems-based perspective that goes beyond surface details.

I received my Maryland 72-hour Home Inspector training through Inspection Certification Associates and have completed additional training and certification courses, including Radon and Sewer Scope. I successfully passed the National Home Inspector Exam, am licensed in the State of Maryland (#35871, Exp. 11/04/2027), and adhere to the Standards of Practice. By following these standards, I maintain membership in good standing through accredited Continuing Education courses—ensuring I remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
